Everyone that has written a letter to our senate and congress thank you your effort has helped CWA come to an agreement with CenturyLink. The agreement contains some employment securities. It is not finalized but as soon as it is we will post the details.

QWEST and CENTURY LINK MERGER

CWA Has not endorsed the Qwest and CenturyLink merger due to CenturyLink not reaching an agreement to SECURE jobs, Guarantee no LAYOFFS, also not to move call centers to smaller non-union towns. The Washington CWA Counsel has met with Senator Murray's office, Senator Cantwell's office and also Adam Smith's office to tell our concerns about the merger.
